An analysis of working capital management at Bulawayo City Council.

Abstract

The research was focused on analyzing the management of working capital at the Bulawayo City Council The main objectives was to analyse the factors that are affecting the working capital. The research analysed the policies and techniques that are being used by the Bulawayo City Council and how effective they are. The researched concluded that the city council has no defined working capital policy. They are a lot o f things affecting also affecting the management of the working capital like government intervention in the running of council business. The management of Bulawayo city council should come up with a well defined document working capital for it to be effective.
